Carys Staton

Trained with the YDA until 18 when she started full-time training at one of the countries top Conservatoires; Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Since graduating in summer 2011, she has worked with Beyoncé and is currently a dancer with Russell Maliphant.

Frankie

Trained with the YDA on the urban programme until 19 when he started full-time training at one of the countries top Conservatoires - the London Contemporary Dance School in 2010.

Frankie is training in both urban and contemporary dance styles in order to have more career choices when he graduates.

STUDENT PROFILE

Jahrel

Trained with the YDA on the urban programme until 16 when he started full-time training at the Liberatus School of Performing Arts (foundation course in dance).

Jahrel is completing his training in musical theatre at Bird College.

national dance CAT success stories

Jon Savage (CAT at The Place) studied at Central before joining Scottish Ballet and has recently joined Rambert Dance Company (Sept 2011).

Reece Richards (CAT at The Place) recently finished a season in the hit musical Thriller and can now be seen dancing on XFactor.

Tom Greaves (Trinity Laban CAT) went to London Contemporary Dance School and is now with Matthew Bourne New Adventures.

Adam Park (Dance City CAT) is currently in his 3rd Year at Rambert School - he was selected to perform with the company as a student dancer, for their current tour and has subsequently been offered a permanent contract with the company.

Sam Draper (Dance City CAT) went to Rambert School has been given the chance to understudy Adam`s student role for the tour with Rambert Dance Company, so its doublegood news!

Lawrie Maclennan (CAT at The Place) is production manager for Hofesh Shechter Company.

Carys Staton (Swindon Dance CAT) on graduating from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance summer 2011, Carys has worked with Beyoncé and is now dancing with Russell Maliphant.

Joseph Poulton (Northern Ballet CAT) attended Rambert School and Central School of Ballet and is now dancing with Ballet Black.
